Join us for a day of fun and create lasting memories! Visitors are welcome to meet the charming and adorable animals while enjoying the peaceful countryside setting.<\/p>\n<p>The Toivonen Animal Park and Peasant Museum is located in K\u00e4lvi\u00e4, along the main route E8, just 10 kilometers from the city of Kokkola.<\/p>\n<p>The museum currently consists of 50 separate buildings and more than 12,500 exhibits. The museum village is constantly expanding and is being developed with the purpose of sharing detailed insights into life in a typical Central Ostrobothnian countryside village during the first half of the last century. During the summer season, there are many engaging workshops that follow old peasant traditions, along with a variety of themed exhibitions.<\/p>\n<p>Within the museum area, there is a fantastic playground for children, as well as antique cars and tractors\u2014an attraction that everyone will enjoy! We also have an exhibition area featuring playhouses, some of which children can play in, as well as a play shop.<\/p>\n<p>In the Animal Park, you can expect to see goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, roosters, cats, and dogs, along with their young. All animals can be found in their traditional surroundings, providing an authentic experience of farm life.<\/p>\n<p>We also have a Handicraft and Gift Shop offering a wide selection of gifts for different age groups. The shop is open daily from noon to 6 PM.
